WEEKLY WOMEN'S CIRCLE

Every woman seeking a sacred community to hold her as she does the deep work of being, feeling, relating, and waking up has a place in our circle.

A safe, sacred space for women’s work

Women’s work is the tending of the whole woman: her inner life, her body, her relationships, her desire, her power, and her shadow. It is reflective, embodied, and done in the company of other women, for the purpose of becoming more fully and sovereignly herself.

Conscious Woman circles are for women of all ages who want a sacred community of women to hold them as they grow.

Conscious Woman circles

Recurring, small circles of six to twelve women, meeting weekly for two hours. A processing space, not a class. Not therapy, not coaching. Each gathering opens and closes with ritual; the space is held as holy ground.

Membership: $275/month, paid at the start of each month. Your first month is a trial of the experience, not of the cost—you pay the full rate while you feel into the circle before deciding. After that, women who continue commit to six months together.

What we honor

  • SOVEREIGNTY — Each woman is the authority on her own life, her body, and her desire. In the circle, no one fixes, advises, or rescues unless she asks. We trust her to know her own timing.

  • TRUTH — We speak what’s true for us, even when it’s unfinished or unflattering, and we hold what another woman speaks as hers—even if we don’t share her truth. Her honesty about herself is hers to offer, and we receive it as a gift.

  • WITNESS — We see each other, and we let ourselves be seen. Much of what a woman needs can’t be given across a desk or a screen; it has to be received in the presence of other women.

  • TRUST — What is spoken in the circle stays in the circle. We come to be with one another, not to judge, compare, or compete. Empathy is always welcome; a woman can only be fully seen where she knows she is safe.

  • SENSITIVITY — We hold sensitivity as a strength and a gift of the feminine, not a weakness or a liability. To feel deeply is to be alive, and it is part of the divine feminine we honor in one another.

  • WHOLENESS — We make room for the whole woman: tender and fierce, joyful and grieving, proud and hiding. Her light and her shadow belong here.

  • SISTERSHIP — We have each other’s backs. Not as a performance of niceness, but as women who are doing the hard work of being, feeling, relating, and waking up—together.

Come meet me

Two free orientations: Thursday, October 22, and Thursday, October 29. In person at 1:00 pm in the Santa Barbara area, or on Zoom at 3:30 pm Pacific. These orientations are for women seriously considering joining a circle. RSVP to lisablair@me.com with your date and whether in person or Zoom.

A sister circle to Conscious Man

Conscious Woman shares its roots with Conscious Man, a men’s community in Santa Barbara and southern California founded by Chris Christopherson, yet it carries its own style and vibration: that of the sacred feminine, the sistership of women. Whether your partner sits in a men’s circle, whether you’re partnered or solo, you come here for your own sake, and you’re held in your own right.

MEET YOUR FACILITATOR

Lisa Blair, PhD

Lisa Blair, PhD, is a scholar, writer, and educator whose work explores emotional intimacy, relational conflict, and romantic partnership. Her peer-reviewed research—among the first to examine the intersection of AI, digital technology, and intimacy—has been published in the International Handbook of Love (2nd edition), World Futures, the Journal of Conscious Evolution, and a forthcoming volume on STARA and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Springer Nature).

She holds a doctorate in Transformative Studies from the California Institute of Integral Studies and is a Certified Process Work Diplomate—the Process Work Institute’s highest level of clinical certification—trained under Drs. Arnold and Amy Mindell.

Drawing on 17 years of clinical practice, depth psychology, and a highly sensitive attunement to the inner lives of the women she works with, she now focuses her teaching and private practice on emotional and erotic intimacy with women—including the territory of erotic sovereignty: a woman’s aliveness, desire, and self-belonging, and what it takes to inhabit them fully. She co-hosts In Two Deep, a podcast on emotional intimacy, conflict, and connection from a depth psychological perspective, and teaches online and internationally, cultivating what she calls sacred community—a space where depth, vulnerability, and genuine connection are central to the learning.
